We are a group of 9 Bursary scholars who were affected by a recent strikedown of JPA scholarship in 2016.
Never compromise with the future, we are now actively seeking individual sponsors or donors in order to fulfill our education dreams.
Besides obtaining excellent A Levels results, the 9 of us have received unconditional offers from top 10 universities in the world to pursue courses such as medicine, engineering and economics, including University of Cambridge, University of California, Berkeley and Los Angeles, University College London (UCL) among those.
The acceptance rate to these top university falls around only 7.3% which makes admission highly competitive and rigorous. Investment in us is a long term investment for the country.
To date, we have been able to raise RM 740,000 through contribution from friends, families, relatives, and another RM200,000 for living allowances through on-campus work in university, thus making substantial progress to fulfill our education dreams.

We have identified that the biggest challenge we would face is the inability to raise enough funds for all 9 of us. It would then cause us unable to prove to our universities that we have sufficient fund to support our first year of studies. Nevertheless, we are optimistic that with our hard work and determination, we would be able to reach the targetted amount.
The fund will be distributed according to a sequence which is created by our internal voting method. This means that if we fail to achieve our target, the fund will be funding the first few of us in the sequence list. This is to ensure that at least 1 or 2 of us are able to cover the full first-year educational cost.
